Different Designs, Same Espresso Cups

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Coffee is the usual partner of most people in the morning. With cream, dark, or sweetened – people have their own taste when it comes to coffee drinking. Some would even own beautiful cups that are exclusive only for their coffee.

Espresso means “pressed out” in Italian. The finest coffee beans are being pressed out in a machine. Once the process of making the espresso is done, you may now enjoy the dark coffee topped with froth called crema and inhale its rich aroma. This espresso is not going to be complete without using espresso cups.

An espresso cup traditionally comes in porcelain. They have the size that can hold up to 3 ounce amount of coffee. The cup with matching saucer is what a perfect espresso tool must be like. Plain colored or fancily designed, the overall outer appearance of an espresso cup is also evolving.

Thick-walled, porcelain, and usually plain or printed – that is how the typical espresso cups appear. These cups vary in color and they also vary in their designs, which can be usually seen in their handle and sipping edge. These things give your espresso cup a unique look without leaving behind its traditional sense.

Brand Exposure with Personalized Backpacks And Messenger Bags

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

With hundreds of promotional giveaways to choose from, why does it make sense to use logo messenger bags and backpacks to promote brand awareness?

Smaller promotional giveaways like key rings, stickers, notepads and pens, have limited imprint areas. On the other hand, custom bags and backpacks provide bigger and better brand exposure with bigger imprint areas.

Logos on bags are more eye-catching compared to those imprinted on a pen or a sticky pad. Recipients are more likely to identify your brand when it grabs their attention like that than if it were laser-engraved on a fountain pen sticking out from your chest pocket. Logos printed on them are only effective when they are in use. They become unproductive when kept in a drawer or in a box. That defeats the purpose of giving out business gifts, doesn’t it?

Imprinted back packs and messenger bags are your own moving adverts. Give away as many as you can to as many customers during trade shows, expos and conferences. Brand exposure does not end after distributing your giveaway messenger bags and backpacks. In fact, that is only the beginning. Your brand name, company logo, or catchphrase silk screened or embroidered on promotional messenger bags and backpacks will be displayed to everyone in all places it is taken. Imagine your corporate logo being seen by a wide array of people in malls, supermarkets, on the streets, in schools, in churches, and nearly everywhere.

Airsoft Guns: New Technology Offers Fun Results

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Airsoft guns were designed because of need that was recognized by manufacturers. The need was in Japan, back in the 1970s. One could not own a firearm as it was illegal. So, manufacturers designed the airsoft gun. They incorporated knock-off military design with plastic BBs for ammunition. The ammunition is considered safe as the plastic BBs will not penetrate the skin.

To begin with, airsoft guns were designed only as a single-shot weapon. This means that with each shot, one would have to pull a lever, bolt, slide, or other mechanism to reload the chamber with another BB. Once the gun was reloaded, it could then be shot again. As you can imagine, the shooting process was slow. The single-shot gun was cheap to purchase, and it operated off of spring-powered technology.

In time, manufacturers developed the electric-powered airsoft gun. They offered it in an automatic and a semi-automatic version. This gun was powered by an electric motor that operated off of batteries. Its disadvantage was the batteries. If the batteries died, the gun would not work; however, the automatic and semi-automatic options made this gun perfect for competition.
