At the time I write this there’s less than a month left until the Mother’s Day and there’s still time to get the present. But I figure it’s not gonna be long and many will find themselves not having gotten the present and time running out. So here are some of the ideas for the last chance gift.

First and foremost you will always be able to get flowers, so you can do that. Additionally you can get some high quality chocolate. Or as an alternative you can get a fruit basket. It’s a simple gift but a good one nevertheless.

But for it to be a really good gift we need to add something personal. And in this post I want to give and idea of a card made of old photos that have a meaning to you and your mother. It’s similar to scrapbooking but requires you to dedicated a lot less time, which you don’t have when we’re talking about last chance gifts.

The best idea to make such a card is to use a computer. If you have any graphic editing skills you can do that easily with a program like Photoshop. Or you can find some e-card templates on the Internet. Then print it out and add it to you flowers or the basket.

The essential idea is to personalize it so it doesn’t seem like the present made hastily. You evidently don’t want your mother to know that you have forgotten the Mother’s Day. And creating such a personal little present will undoubtedly do it. Specifically if you can choose a really touching picture.

That’s one idea, but of course you should always try to think outside the box. You will not go wrong if you make it from your heart. Try to find that special thing that you feel is special to your mother and let her know.
