The “heart shape” often conjures up thoughts of love and romance. It has worked its way into our treasured annual holidays like St. Valentine’s Day, into greeting cards and gifts, and into our jewelry designs as well. As we all know, jewelry is often made out of precious metals like gold and silver, and precious gems like diamonds and emeralds, and by incorporating the “heart shape” we are produce an object that displays the eternal ideas of romance, love, caring, and belonging. We will now explore the origins of heart jewelry, the “heart shape symbol”, and the world’s most famous heart-shaped diamond.
The “heart symbol” has been around for years, used to refer to the spiritual, emotional, moral, and intellectual core of humans. It’s often depicted as “red” as this symbolizes blood (as it is the heart that pumps blood through the body) and strong emotions…and what emotion can possibly be stronger than that of true love?

Heart shaped diamond necklaces are great gifts for someone to receive. When you think about love, the first thing that comes to mind is a heart. What better way to say I love you than with a diamond heart-shaped necklace? Heart-shaped pendants come in many sizes and styles. With so many to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect one.
If you want your heart-shaped necklace to stand out from the rest, try incorporating a diamond. This is something that never falls out of style. Diamonds are always in fashion. The diamond heart-shaped pedant can be passed down and given to anyone who enjoys jewelry.
You can give a heart-shaped pedant for any occasion! Think of how exciting it is to open a birthday present that is out of the norm. The heart-shaped pedant is also a crowd pleaser for anniversaries and any other milestone in a person’s life.
You have three main medals to choose from; yellow, white gold, or sterling silver. You may want to consider a few things before choosing a metal for someone. First, look and see what that person normally wears. Do they normally wear yellow or sterling silver? Do they have any allergies to certain medals? If you see them wearing a variety of medals the choice is yours to make!

If you are in the market for gemstone jewelry, you are in for a treat. There are so many gorgeous pieces available your only problem will be choosing which one to buy. It is easy to find a piece to suit any occasion or purpose as you can find something in almost any color or shade. You will love wearing gemstone jewelry for formal or informal affairs and there is something to fit every budget.
Unlike diamonds, which are indeed beautiful in their own right, colorful gemstones are so versatile and appeal to so many different people, and yet another benefit is that they can also be considerably less expensive. Emeralds, rubies, and sapphires are considered to be among the most valuable of all the precious and semiprecious gemstones in the world and are available in a wide variety of values, settings, cuts, and types.
Sapphire, the birthstone for people born in September, is second only to diamonds in hardness. The deep blue of this gemstone is a popular choice for rings. It is available in lighter shades if that is what you prefer.

A wedding anniversary is truly a monumental occasion as not only does it signify another year of wedded bliss, but it’s also the day to really celebrate the marriage and fondly remember the entire wedding day. If you’re getting ready to celebrate your own anniversary, then of course you’ll want to take plenty of time to find just the right present for her. And over the years, diamond rings and other gemstones or similar pieces of fine jewelry have all become excellent choices for anniversary gifts.
Anniversary rings, no matter if combined with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, or any other sort of amazing gem on the market were at one time save for certain occasions like the 25th. However now there are many people that opt to celebrate the day with not only these, but also other amazing things to remind them of their affection.
While diamonds are indeed a popular choice, they aren’t the favorite of everyone and anniversary rings can be found in all different gemstones and styles. To begin narrowing down your many options, first choose from popular metals such as white or yellow gold, silver, and platinum for the band itself and then decide on the actual style or setting of the ring.

If you’re intimidated by the process of engagement ring shopping, you’re not alone. Most of us are worried about this large, important purchase. However, there are some ways you can save a lot of money and make the whole process much simpler.
One obvious thing that most of us know is that the bigger the diamond, the better. This fact is responsible for a lot of people’s fear and anxiety when buying a ring. They’re afraid of having to spend a lot to please their fiance. After all, larger diamonds mean a higher price.
Fortunately, there are ways to get a high quality, large diamond for a lot less than you might think. It’s all about getting the most out of your money.
Here’s an example to show you what we mean.
There are four main characteristics used to grade diamonds. These are carat, cut, color and clarity. We’ll take a look at color to see how to get the best deal.
Color grading scales range between D and Z, with D color grading indicating the best color. To decide what quality color a given diamond has, each one is inspected under very high magnifications.

You’re all set to pop the question – you know exactly how you’re going to do it. You know exactly what to say and you’re eager to get that ring on her finger! However, that’s just what you’re missing – the ring! You don’t have a huge budget though, so you need to find a cheap engagement ring ? but is this even a possibility?
First off, I hate to use the word “cheap” in the same sentence as “diamond ring”. Why don’t we instead say affordable engagement ring ? sounds a lot better in my opinion!
Ok, step one is to set a budget. Decide how much you want to spend on your engagement ring. And please be realistic – don’t say $56. Not gonna happen.
You’ll either have to tap into your savings to pay for this purchase or save up for an engagement ring. Don’t make the mistake of spending too little – this is one of the most important purchases you’ll ever make.

For numerous folks, shopping for an engagement ring is a daunting experience. They are shopping for a diamond for the first time and they are wondering what to look for. I’m here to help! As odd as it may sound, shopping for an engagement ring should be enjoyable. We will explore the first 3 things you need to decide on. Once you know these 3 things you will be able to focus on the most important area of the ring – the diamond!
Decide on a Budget
I always recommend that my clients do this first thing. Decide what price you can easily afford and stay with that price. There is not a definite rule about how much one should spend, but there are some people that have paid out about 2 months of their salary on a ring.

Women have long enjoyed being given a piece of jewelry as a gift and in modern times it is becoming an increasingly popular present to give to men and children as well. There are many reasons for this – in particular it can become a treasured possession which can easily be handed down to future generations and depending on the quality of the piece it may well increase in value over time. But there are many points to consider when you plan to give a jewelry gift:
1. There are so many celebrations that can be made even more special with the gift of jewelry. Perhaps the most obvious one is a marriage proposal and the presentation of the engagement ring, closely followed by the exchange of rings during the wedding ceremony. A personalized heart necklace or bracelet make an ideal gift for a new mom and her baby daughter and of course earrings and brooches make great Mother’s Day gifts. And what better way to say “well done” to your daughter or son than with a watch or pendant on their graduation.

With even science backing up the fact that most women adore the color pink, there’s a pretty good chance that you have friends or family members who would love a fabulous pink gift for their next birthday (or other special event). Here are 6 gifts no pink-lover can resist.
Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil Swiss company Weleda grow most plant ingredients that go into their products biodynamically in their own gardens on a plateau in southern Germany. Biodynamic cultivation uses no pesticides or toxic substances whatsoever, so you don’t have to worry about your skin absorbing all those pesky chemicals that are found in many mainstream oils and lotions. Their wild rose body oil comes in a dark blue glass bottle with a bright pink label and the main ingredients are jojoba, sweet almond, and organic musk rose oil. If the thought of putting oil on your skin grosses you out, don’t worry – it does get absorbed very quickly, and leaves your skin incredibly soft and sweet smelling (not overpoweringly “rosey”). $25.
