If you are looking for a massage chair, then you need to sort through a lot of garbage to get to the real gold nuggets. There are many manufacturers who are happy to take your money and simply run. The key to getting a massage chair is sticking with the best manufacturers with the highest reputation.
Just be aware that there are under reputable importers of massage chairs that offer great deals. The problem isn’t the deal but the reliability of the massage chair and if the retailer will actually provide warranty coverage if something goes wrong.
For this and many other reasons we always caution our clients to stick with the best manufacturers of massage chairs. Names you can trust such as Panasonic, Omega and Sanyo. These manufacturers have been around for years and provide excellent quality chairs and great service if something were to go wrong.
Although, it may be tempting to go for a low price massage chair with millions of features, use extreme caution. Be careful, as many of these chairs are imported once and sold off with the retailer’s disappearing quickly. When you call for service, you will most likely find that number has been disconnected.

It is important to understand your longer-term needs and then determine which massage chair features will best suit them.

Some people have sore shoulders or tightness in the lower back. Think of the types of needs you may have in this will help you determine which features are right for you.

It is surprising at how much the massage chair industry has grown in the last 10 years. We’ve seen many different companies come and go, but Panasonic continues to go on. They now offer two Main lines. One is the new urban collection and the other is the Real Pro Ultra massage chairs. The urban collection sports a new contemporary and stylized design. The Real Pro Ultra offers many massage treatments and full body capability.
The Swede-Atsu New Urban Collection is the newest introduction from the company. They have redesigned these loungers to be much more stylish and contemporary. They offer sleeker designs with curved armrest and different accents in the chair. These loungers come in leather and some models have a separate leg ottoman.
A separate leg ottoman is one of the features of the Panasonic EP 1082 model. The EP 1082 has eight airbags for massaging your legs in the separate leg ottoman. You also get eight different manual massage techniques in the Swede Atsu massage roller mechanism. This is still featured in the back massage. This recliner contains the most manual massage techniques of any in its class.

Many of us recognize the importance of receiving periodic massage treatments. In fact, there is a growing trend of people seeking these treatments. The popularity of massage therapy and the multitude of techniques available are compelling people to integrate into their health programs. However, one of the biggest obstacles seems to be the convenience of receiving these frequent treatments. Massage chairs provide a practical and economic means to receive massage therapy on demand.
Massage therapy has been given as a natural remedy to bodily aches and pains. Many of the massage techniques commonly used have been developed since ancient times. These techniques have been refined and improved over thousands of years.
Television has created an elevated image of massage treatments. We are used to seeing our favorite stars being pampered. This has created a perception of it only been available to the wealthy.
It’s interesting to see how we all react under stress. Our fiscal reaction is all the same. Our body senses the stress from the mind and prepares itself for fighting or to flee. We have increased strength and stamina and are ready for direct action.

Massage is something much more than something that feels good. Massage therapy is a countermeasure to the build up of stress and anxiety. People are feeling more stress these days than ever. We need new ways to cope with these stressful times. Massage therapy is perfect for relieving the tension and stiffness in the body. There is much more to massage therapy than just receiving the massage. To really get the benefit of these therapies, it is important to maximize the total experience.
People are seeking more natural and holistic treatments to their common ailments. Massage therapy has been given throughout time to relieve stress, and reduce muscle stiffness. There is a great variety of massage schools which have sprung up around the world. Many of these massage techniques are now widely available. Regardless of which massage technique you receive, there are some simple to follow guidelines on maximizing your therapy results.
If you plan on getting a massage, do not eat immediately before hand. When you eat it causes blood to be diverging to your digestive tract. This helps the body to more effectively digest your meal. However this also affects the quality of a massage treatment. Generally, you may need 30 to 40 minutes to digest your food.

This is a review of the Panasonic EP 1285 model massage chair. This is a new series of contemporary urban massage recliners from Panasonic. This series is the first attempt to begin to match the decoration of most homes. Almost every massage chair released from Panasonic unfortunately has looked like a massage chair. This is a good break with past tradition.
We always encourage you to first compare the warranty coverage of the different chairs that you are interested in purchasing. Warranty coverage will provide you with peace of mind and protection down the road. Although it is rare that a problem occurs, it does happen. You want to be covered so that you can get the most out of your purchase.
The EP 1285 comes with their standard one-year coverage on parts. It also provides for one year of on-site service or in-home service. This is an important aspect of warranty coverage as it is better to have it serviced in your home rather than you have to take it somewhere. The rollers in the chair back are covered for three years. This is basic warranty coverage and you may want to consider getting an extended warranty.

This review takes an in-depth look at the Prestigio OM-510 shiatsu massage chair made by Omega Massage, Inc. Omega Massage, Inc is known for its state of the art design, striking aesthetics and advanced technology. The Prestigio OM-510 was first released in January 2006. It is a midrange model in the $2,000 to $3,000 price range.
Be sure to go with a reputable massage chair manufacturer. One good benchmark is whether the company has any retail accounts. Retailers demand more from manufacturers because they move more volume. Omega has significant national retail accounts, so they stand by their product. The Prestigio massage chair has strong warranty coverage and Omega has excellent customer service and response.
How good is the warranty of the Prestigio OM-510 massage chair? Omega Massage has one of the best warranties and this also applies to the Prestigio massage chair. Omega covers the OM-510 with 5 years on the frame, 3 years parts, 3 years labor, 1 year shipping and 90 days in-home service. Omega has strong protection for the customer with their warranty. Many massage chair companies sell extended warranties, but Omega includes it as standard with their shiatsu massage chairs.

The following is a product review and evaluation of the Sanyo HEC-SR1000K massage chair recliner. This is the entry level massage chair model for Sanyo. We will present the salient features, functions and warranty coverage available for this massage chair. Let us take an in depth look at the Sanyo SR1000K massage chair recliner.
The warranty coverage is similar to an insurance policy. You get insurance so that you are not affected by a catastrophe. You want sufficient warranty coverage to protect you from defects in components or workmanship of the massage chair. The warranty for this massage recliner is from Sanyo. Sanyo gives the following coverage for the SR-1000K recliner: 3 years for the roller mechanism, 1 year labor, 1 year parts and 1 year in home service. The Sanyo warranty is the same for all their models. However, for this price range, the warranty is very good.
The SR 1000K has some very unique and interesting features. We will start with the massage therapy features. This massage recliner comes with 2 automatic programs which include relax and recovery. You first select the auto button and then the massage therapy program. You can then select the area to massage. Your choices are neck/shoulder, upper body, or waist.

One of the most pleasurable and relaxing experiences is getting a whole body massage. All the built up tensions, anxieties and stresses start to melt away as the massage is performed. When people think of massages, they think of a massage therapist working them over little by little to calm and relaxing music. There is something very special about a massage from a trained specialist. Another effective alternative to a massage therapist is a massage chair.
There is always an interesting set of perceptions with regard to massage by a therapist or a chair. Certainly, the environments are different. If you see a massage therapist, then they set the mood and ambience. If you have a chair, then it is in a room or office and others may or may be present. However, the massage therapies can be equally effective from therapist or chair. A therapist massages from the top and must use their weight to vary intensity. Whereas the chair, massages from the beneath by using your weight to vary intensity. Most people are surprised at how effective a recliner can massage.
